We’re a small, entrepreneurial, artist-led organization looking for a creative social media specialist to manage our social media platforms, email marketing and website communications. This integral position will be responsible for the following:
— Collaborate with our team and marketing consulting firm to plan our quarterly marketing calendar, brainstorming social media topics, email communications, and website updates
— Implement said marketing calendar by creating, editing, and distributing engaging written, graphic, or video content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, YouTube, Mailchimp, WordPress, etc.)
— Gather existing assets (like video and photos) or project manage creation of new ones (this may involve working with Liz and team in person on occasion)
— Consider how campaigns support the company’s larger mission, including artistic and programmatic initiatives
— Incorporate feedback from monthly insights and data measuring the performance of social media content, SEO strategy and web traffic metrics
— Engage with friends and followers consistently across platforms, responding to comments and messages, and supporting posts by our peers
— Follow social media trends and pitch how to incorporate them into our planning
— Communicate effectively to all team members
— Participate in occasional (Zoom) team meetings
— Proactively research opportunities for future communications activities
–Retrieve, organize and share images and videos from Dropbox as directed
